SALTED MUFFIN WITH DRIED TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr. Flour
  • 70 gr. Tomato Cream Salvagno
  • 2 slice of cooked ham
  • 70 gr. Pine nuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 50 ml. milk
  • 70 ml. extra virgin olive oil Salvagno

Beat eggs with milk and Salvagno extra virgin olive oil; add the flour sifted with baking powder. When the mixture is homogenous, mix the Salvagno dried tomato sauce, the ham cut into small pieces and pine nuts.

Take the muffin molds, grease them with the remaining Salvagno extra virgin olive oil and flour them, divide the mixture trying to stay about 1 cm below the edge of the pan; cook the salted muffin in the oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden and well leavened.
